The Artist

Photography of Anastasiy Safari is mostly inspired
by cultures of Asia, area where he did much of his traveling.
His photographic vision and approach to color and composition
are strongly influenced by his roots. He comes from a lineage
of Armenians that escaped Turkey in early 1900s. His father
was born and raised in the Armenian community of Georgia –
situated in the eastern region of Eurasian continent.
Anastasiy holds a Master of Arts degree.
Now he has devoted himself to the search
of his own freedom of vision within photography

Anastasiy recently got an honorable mention at

International Photography Awards 2007
with his "Shrine of Travel Stories".
This worldwide award has this year more than
20,000 participants from more than 90 countries.
